Hallana Barbosa

Hallana Barbosa is an Executive Producer at Ingenuity Studios. Hallana has over five years of experience in the industry, working as a Freelance Post Production Supervisor, Second Assistant Camera, Compositor, and Visual Effects Producer.

Barbosa began their career in the industry as a Compositor for The Golden Man. Hallana was responsible for adding blood to the plate and changing a television screen. From there, they became a Visual Effects Producer and Supervisor for Goliath, where they were responsible for documenting and distributing full project specifications and workflow, brainstorming with directors to solve storytelling challenges, and creating nuke comps for the team which reduced time spent on each shot and helped to maintain shot-to-shot continuity.

In their most recent role as Executive Producer at Ingenuity Studios, Barbosa is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, from pre-production to post-production. Hallana works closely with the studio’s team of artists and technicians to ensure that each project is completed on time and within budget.

Hallana Barbosa has an MFA in Animation & Visual Effects from the Academy of Art University, and a degree in Graphic Design & Marketing from the University of New Haven. Hallana is currently working as a freelance artist and producer.
