Rubén Jara

Rubén Jara is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in sales application engineering and project management within the photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) sectors. Currently serving as the Sales Application Engineer Leader for Australia and New Zealand at Ingeteam, Rubén provides technical support to the sales force, conducts RFQ technical analyses, and leads projects throughout their execution stages. Prior roles include project manager and technical leader at Schneider Electric, overseeing system specifications and technical compliance, and project manager for variable speed drives and PV converters at Power Electronics. Rubén’s earlier experience includes product management for medium voltage switchgear at Iberica de Aparellajes and research scholarship at Florida State University, where focus was placed on dielectric properties for photovoltaic applications. Rubén holds a Master of Engineering degree and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València, along with additional qualifications in occupational hazard prevention.
