Patrick Philipp

Patrick Philipp is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the chemical engineering field. Currently serving as a Senior Production Engineer and previously as a Process Engineer at Ingevity since July 2015, Patrick manages capital projects and performs process design work at the Charleston Performance Chemicals Plant. Prior experience includes an Engineering Rotational Associate role at MeadWestvaco, where engagement included hands-on learning across various manufacturing sites, as well as a Chemical Engineering co-op at the same company, focusing on process piping design, safety compliance, and training initiatives. Patrick also contributed to Clemson University as a College of Engineering and Science Ambassador and as a Resident Assistant, demonstrating strong leadership and community involvement. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and has furthered education at the Vienna University of Technology.
