Jonathan Yates

Jonathan Yates is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in offensive security, penetration testing, and technical leadership. Currently serving as Principal of Offensive Security at Ingram Micro since June 2020, Jonathan previously held the role of Senior Principal Security Researcher at Symantec, where responsibilities included conducting tailored security assessments and developing attack simulation test cases using the MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Prior roles include Cyber Engineer at Gotham Digital Science and Penetration Testing Team Lead at Veris Group, LLC, where Jonathan oversaw multiple assessment teams and ensured the strategic direction of the Application Security Services division. Jonathan's career began at Electronic Recyclers as a Jr. Application Developer and IT Coordinator. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from California State University, Fresno, in 2007.
