James P. Zallie

James P. Zallie is the current President & CEO at Ingredion. James has over 25 years of experience in the food and specialty starch industry.

Zallie began their career at National Starch in 1983, where they held various positions including President and CEO. James was responsible for leading the company through a period of significant growth, with revenue increasing from $1.4B to over $4B during their tenure.

In 2010, Zallie joined Ingredion Incorporated as Executive Vice President Global Specialties and President EMEA and APAC. James was promoted to Executive Vice President Global Specialties, President NA and EMEA in 2014, and assumed their current role as President & CEO in 2015.

Under Zallie's leadership, Ingredion has become a leading global provider of ingredient solutions to the food, beverage and industrial markets. The company has seen significant growth and expansion during their tenure, with operations in over 40 countries and over 7,000 employees worldwide.

James P. Zallie received their B.S. in Food Science and Technology from Penn State University. James then went on to earn their M.S. in Food Science and Technology from Rutgers University. Finally, they earned their M.B.A. in Finance from Rutgers University - Newark.
