Ling Ma, PhD, currently serves as Technical Innovation Director for Sugar Reduction at Ingredion Incorporated, a role commenced in May 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Category Technical Leader/Sr. Investigator for Global Nutrition at Givaudan, where significant contributions involved establishing a nutrition platform and managing a team focused on the commercialization of innovative nutrition products. Previous positions included Senior Scientist roles at The Coca-Cola Company and Firmenich, as well as leadership in innovation and application development at DSM and Tate & Lyle. With a strong academic foundation, including a PhD in organic chemistry from Brandeis University, Ling Ma has demonstrated expertise in product development, scientific research, and cross-functional project management across the food, flavor, and pharmaceutical industries.
