Matthew Yurgec

Matthew Yurgec is an accomplished professional in the food science industry, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Plant-based Protein Applications at Ingredion Incorporated since June 2017. With a strong background in dairy and bakery applications, Matthew has held various roles at Ingredion, including leading the Dairy Applications Team and managing projects focused on ingredient technologies to foster growth in dairy products. Prior to Ingredion, Matthew worked as a Senior Application Technologist at National Starch Food Innovation and as a Food Scientist at Unilever, where Matthew specialized in product development. Matthew holds a Master's of Science in Food Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Penn State University.
