Tom Furdek

Tom Furdek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental health, safety, and operational management. Currently serving as Sr. Director of NA Environmental, Health, Safety and Security at Ingredion Incorporated since June 2005, Furdek oversees safety and sustainability initiatives across 19 sites in North America. Prior roles include Plant Manager, where responsibility encompassed all facets of facility operations, and various managerial positions at National Starch Food Innovation from January 1995 to June 2005, where responsibilities included leading business units for dry starch and wet milling. Furdek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Purdue University, obtained between 1982 and 1987.
