Jean-Marc Peyrat

Jean-Marc Peyrat is the current Chief Technology Officer and Founder of inHEART. Prior to this, they were an MBA Candidate at HEC Paris from January 2016 to December 2017. Before their time at HEC Paris, Jean-Marc worked as a Research Executive at Qatar Science & Technology Park from January 2013 to December 2015, where they managed and executed innovative R&D projects in surgical technologies for the Strategic Research Department of Qatar Robotic Surgery Centre (QRSC).

From July 2005 to October 2005, Jean-Marc worked as a CAD Sofware Developer for the Geometrical Modeler Department - Topological Operators at Dassault Systemes. From January 2005 to December 2009, they were a PhD Candidate at Asclepios Team (INRIA) / Imaging & Visualization Department (SCR), conducting research on image analysis tools for studying cardiac anatomy and function. In January 2010, they began working as a Scientist at Siemens Molecular Imaging, where they remained until December 2012.

Jean-Marc's first experience in the industry was as an R&D Engineer (Intern) at Siemens Corporate Research from January 2004 to December 2005. Jean-Marc then interned as an R&D Engineer at Thales Microsonics from April 2002 to September 2002.

Jean-Marc Peyrat attended the Lycée Charlemagne for their higher school preparatory classes, where they studied mathematics and physics. Jean-Marc then attended the Lycée Henri IV for high school, where they majored in mathematics. After high school, they attended Centrale Lille for their master’s degree in general engineering. Jean-Marc then attended CentraleSupélec for their master’s degree in biomedical engineering. Finally, they attended Université Côte d'Azur for their doctorate in computer science.
