William Carey Vemula currently serves as the Chief of Hospitalist Division at Jeanes Hospital, part of the Temple Health system, since December 2016. Prior to that role, Vemula was the Hospitalist Program Director at Cogent Healthcare from May 2012 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee in 2018, a medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine obtained between 2003 and 2006, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Osmania Medical College, completed in 1998.
