Dr. Elena Mechik

CEO & Co-founder at INHUBBER

Dr. Elena Mechik has a wealth of work experience. Dr. Elena began their career in 2009 as the CEO and Founder of umWELTweit e.V., an NGO that works to reduce illegal logging of tropical forests. In 2011, they co-founded Arboreal, a business concept that sets up mechanical processing centers for cooperatives in tropical forests, and also began working as a Research Associate at the University of Hamburg. In 2017, they became an Adjunct Lecturer at Touro College, and in 2018 they became the COO and Co-Founder of INHUBBER, a start-up based in Berlin that focuses on cost-efficient contract lifecycle management.

Dr. Elena Mechik obtained their Bachelor from Touro University in International Business and Management in the years 2004-2008. Dr. Elena then received their Master of Engineering - MEng from Technische Universität Berlin in the years 2005-2011. In 2014, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In 2017, they completed their Doctor of Sciene - DSc in Earth Science and Economy from the University of Hamburg. In 2020, they also obtained a certification from Startup Live Global for the Zero21-Startup Live 1st Online Edition.
