Jeongmin Han

Jeongmin Han is an accomplished professional in the field of engineering seismology and catastrophe risk, currently serving as a Reinsurance Underwriter and Principal Risk Scientist at Inigo since January 2022. Previously, Jeongmin held the positions of Catastrophe Research Manager and Model Validation Team Manager at Liberty Specialty Markets from September 2018 to December 2021. From December 2014 to September 2018, Jeongmin worked as an Earthquake Catastrophe Model Developer at Aon Benfield. Academic credentials include a PhD in Engineering Seismology and Earthquake Engineering from Imperial College London, obtained in 2013, and a Master’s degree in Earthquake Engineering with Disaster Management from UCL, earned in 2009. Earlier studies also include a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering from UCL, completed in 2008. Additionally, Jeongmin was a Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering/Engineering Seismology Specialist at Halcrow, a CH2M HILL Company, from September 2013 to October 2014.
