Xavier John

Xavier John has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Xavier worked as the Head of Capital at Inigo Insurance since 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary at Kelvin Re from 2016 to 2021. Xavier also held roles as the President and Vice President of the Channel Islands Actuarial Association from 2017 to 2020 and as a Senior Capital Modelling Actuary at Hiscox UK and Ireland from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they were the Syndicate Capital Modelling Manager at Amlin plc where they managed a team and handled reinsurance analysis and capital allocation. Xavier began their career as a Capital Modeller at Liberty Mutual Insurance and later worked as a Catastrophe Modelling Analyst at Aspen Insurance Group.

Xavier John began their education at St Albans School from 1993 to 1996. Afterward, they attended Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle de Londres from 1996 to 2000. Xavier pursued a degree in Mathematics at the University of Bath from 2000 to 2003. In 2011, they obtained the certification of Fellow from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
