Neil DeSilva is an experienced finance and strategy executive with significant expertise in the blockchain and digital currency sectors. Currently serving as Executive-in-Residence at the Initiative for CryptoCurrencies & Contracts (IC3) based at Cornell Tech, Neil focuses on enhancing collaboration among finance, tech, and academic institutions in New York City. Previously, Neil held key positions such as CFO of Digital Currencies & Remittances at PayPal, where management of a global finance team of 65 was essential for supporting over 5,000 employees. At Galaxy Digital, Neil contributed to substantial growth and market cap increases by launching products and managing investor relations. Earlier roles include experience at DXC Technology, where Neil led M&A and investor relations, and a significant tenure at Goldman Sachs, facilitating considerable M&A transactions. Neil holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a BA magna cum laude in History and Economics from Cornell University, and has also studied at the London School of Economics.
