Katy Varner

Katy Varner currently serves as the Global Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Initiative, a position held since November 2014, where leadership focuses on aiding clients in achieving business growth through advanced analytics and innovative marketing data strategies. Prior roles include Head of Client Solutions, where Katy oversaw significant analytics projects and mentored a diverse team, and Analytics Leader, responsible for developing econometric models and consumer insights research. Prior to Initiative, Katy was a Doctoral Fellow & Researcher at The George Washington University, leading multiple psychological studies and conducting extensive data analysis. Additionally, Katy contributed to the American Psychological Association's Presidential Task Force on Immigration, focusing on the psychological and sociological impacts of immigration. Katy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Maryland and is ABD in Psychology from The George Washington University.
