Sophia Kontra has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as a Customer Service Representative at Sundae Best. Sophia then worked as a Portfolio Manager at DLL in 2018 and as a Retirement Insights Analyst at J.P. Morgan in 2019. From 2016 to 2020, they held multiple roles at Penn State University, including being a Schreyer Scholar and an Economics Teacher's Assistant.

In 2020, Sophia joined J.P. Morgan again and served as a Product Development Analyst, Business Management Analyst, and Institutional Consultant Sales. Sophia then worked at TARRA, LLC as a Coworking Marketing professional from February to June 2023.

Additionally, Sophia was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, where they were the lead researcher in the Consumer Insights & Business Innovation Center (CiBiC) and assisted with analyzing research and identifying insights. Sophia Kontra completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Penn State University from the years 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they participated in a semester abroad program at Universidad de Sevilla, where they studied Spanish and Culture Studies. Prior to their college education, Sophia attended Harriton High School and obtained a diploma from the years 2012 to 2016. Sophia is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, starting in 2022. Additionally, Sophia obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing from the HubSpot Academy in March 2023.
