Injot Trust is a Guwahati (Assam, India) based not for profit organization. Its Founder Director is Anjali Tirkey – a photo essayist, feature writer and philanthropist. The organization focuses on working in the field of community development, livelihood, education and advocacy of human rights for the Adivasi community of Assam. Injot was officially launched on August 9, 2020 – the International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples in honour of the ancestral wisdom of the indigenous people; to live in harmony with nature, to care for future generations, to listen to our body and soul, to celebrate our own selves as an inherent member of this existence. The founding team of Injot is Ms. Anjali Tirkey, Ms. Arindita Gogoi and Mr. Wilson Hasda. Mr. Wilson Hansda officially resigned from the Board of Trustees due to his appointment as EM of BTC.

Empower the Adivasi community of Assam to make informed choices for a progressive future through:
- interventions for healing of generational trauma
- an all-rounded educational approach for children, youth and adults
- and promotion of and training in livelihood alternatives and enterprise
