Joanne Prysunka

Joanne Prysunka is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Adult Therapist at Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre since September 2022, focusing on trauma-informed supportive counseling for survivors of sexual violence. Joanne has held various counseling roles, including Adult Counsellor during a Master's level practicum, Affiliate Clinical Counsellor at Inkblot Therapy by GreenShield Health, and Mental Health Counsellor at both Evergreen Wellness and AgKnow, where their work addresses the unique needs of farmers and rural clients. Prior to these roles, Joanne worked in significant leadership positions such as Vice President Agriculture at Connect First Credit Union and Vice President of Business Banking Services at Mountain View Financial. Joanne's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, along with additional certifications in adult education and business management.
