Marco Cardenas

Marco Cardenas has a rich work experience that spans across different roles and companies. Marco worked at Inkia Energy as the Vice President of Controlling and Treasury since January 2018. Before that, from April 2016 to December 2017, they held the same position at IC Power, where they also served as the Corporate Controller from January 2008 to April 2016. Marco'sresponsibilities at IC Power included overseeing tax, accounting, and financial matters for multiple operating companies in eleven countries. Prior to their time at IC Power, Marco worked at Ernst & Young Peru - Medina, Zaldívar, Paredes y Asociados as an Audit Manager, Audit Senior, and Staff. During their time at EY, they managed the review process for the preparation of Form 20-F for a SEC client and led the inspection process conducted by the PCAOB in Peru.

Marco Cardenas has a solid education history. In 1996 to 2000, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Marco then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2011 to 2013. In 2019, they attended the Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura for their Programa de Alta Dirección. Additionally, they completed the CEO Leadership Program at IESE Business School in the same year. Finally, in 2023, Marco Cardenas underwent specialized training at Harvard Business School in "Succeeding as a Strategic CFO" with a focus on Administration and General Business Management.
