Pavel Murnikov

Pavel Murnikov is the current VP of Engineering at Inkitt. Pavel has also held the position of VP of Technology at Blizzard Entertainment from November 2015 to December 2020. Pushing the boundaries of fan engagement with online competition, rich media presentation, and interactive live watch experiences. Pavel also operated an exclusive content destination for Acitivision Blizzard esports, including the inaugural Overwatch League season, enabling record breaking media licensing deals. Prior to their time at Blizzard, Pavel was the Chief Technology Officer at Major League Gaming from June 2012 to November 2015. During their time at MLG, they were able to execute a major pivot by launching the MLG Streaming Platform which served as the foundation for MLG's media-centric esports influencer community, setting it up for the acquisition by Activision in late 2015. Pavel has also held positions as Chief Technology Officer at Shapemix from February 2011 to June 2012, Software Architect and Team Lead at Maven Networks / Yahoo! from May 2004 to February 2011, and Software Engineer at Trellix, a Dan Bricklin Company from January 1997 to December 2003.

Pavel Murnikov received a BS in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
