Gayani Desilva

Gayani Desilva is a highly experienced psychiatrist currently serving as the Chief Physician of Psychiatry at LA DHS, correctional health since August 2022. In addition, Gayani holds the position of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Inland Psychiatric Medical Group since July 2021. Previously, Gayani served as the Medical Director of Behavioral Health at Inland Empire Health Plan from October 2019 to July 2021, and as an Attending Psychiatrist at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center from July 2018 to September 2019. Earlier roles included Medical Director at Magellan Health Services from January 2017 to December 2018, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Laguna Family Health Center from February 2014 to July 2018. Gayani Desilva earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Albany Medical College.
