In 2011, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Barnes & Noble. From 2012 to 2009, Gideon was the CEO/Co-founder of Clubscore, Inc., an events and entertainment company. From 2009 to 2008, they were the CTO of Jettis Technologies, a transaction processing provider. From 2009 to 2008, they were a Senior Engineer at Security Mentor, a start-up company focused on security training. Lastly, from 2008 to 2009, Gideon was a Lead Web Software Engineer at Andiamo Systems, a leader in word-of-mouth brand measurement/monitoring.

Gideon Kimbrell's education history includes attending Harcourt Learning Direct from 1998 to 2000 to obtain a High School degree, Flathead Valley Community College from 1999 to 2000 to obtain an Associates degree in Computer Science, Oklahoma Academy from 2000 to 2000 to obtain a High School degree, and Southern Adventist University from 2000 to 2003 to obtain a BS in Software Engineering.
