Anna Vardanyan

Anna Vardanyan has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of many years. Anna started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Arizona in 2002 and worked there until 2007. Anna then joined Sanofi, where they held various roles, including Scientist II, Senior Scientist, Associate Medical Director in Clinical Development, Director of Due Diligence in Business Development and Licensing (BD&L). At Sanofi, Anna was involved in clinical trial development and execution, protocol development, medical monitoring, regulatory affairs support, and building relationships with external stakeholders such as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). In 2018, they moved to Everest Medicines, where they initially served as Senior Director of Business Development and Alliance Management before being promoted to Executive Director with additional responsibilities. Anna'srole at Everest Medicines involved deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution, and alliance management with US partner companies. Anna's most recent position is Vice President of Business Development at Inmagene Biopharmaceuticals, which they joined in February 2023.

Anna Vardanyan completed their education history in a chronological manner. Anna first attended Yerevan State Medical University from 1995 to 2001, where they earned their MD degree in Medicine. Anna then pursued further education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a PhD in Medical Pharmacology, specializing in Pain. In 2012, Anna Vardanyan attended Tufts University School of Medicine for a postgraduate training program in Clinical Pharmacology, Drug Development, and Regulation. Finally, in 2014, they attended the London Business School for the Sanofi Business Master Program, focusing on R&D Leadership and obtaining a degree in Business Administration and Management.
