Andreas Benamou

Andreas Benamou has a strong background in software development and engineering, with experience spanning over two decades. Andreas began their career at VERITAS Software in 1997 as a Senior Software Engineer. After working there for nearly six years, Andreas moved on to Sonic Solutions, where they served as Director of Engineering from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, they founded Proxure, Inc. and held the position of CEO until 2012. During this time, they expanded their leadership skills and gained valuable experience in business management. In 2012, Andreas joined AuthenTec as the Director of Engineering, before transitioning to Apple later that year as an IC. Currently, they are working as the Sr. Director of Software (User Products) at Inmar, a position they have held since 2014. Throughout their career, Andreas has consistently demonstrated their expertise in software development, leadership, and business management.

Andreas Benamou earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Andreas attended the university for three years, from 1994 to 1997.
