Derek Shek

Derek Shek has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Derek is currently working at Inmar Intelligence as a Lead Software Engineer since March 2019. Prior to that, Derek worked at YouTech for 10 years as a Senior Platform Engineer. During their time at YouTech, they led and mentored engineering teams, contributed to the company's success by developing an application with over 10 billion digital coupon downloads, and collaborated with client development partners for project needs. Before YouTech, Derek worked at SoftCoin, Inc. as a Senior Java Software Engineer from November 2006 to June 2009. Derek also briefly worked at Saba Software as a Senior Technical Consultant for five months in 2006. Derek's earlier experience includes working at ACI Worldwide as a Senior Java Software Engineer from August 2005 to June 2006 and as a Software Developer II from January 2001 to August 2005.
