Mike Faurote has extensive experience in the field of multi-channel communication and digital marketing. Mike started their career at Guardianet Systems, Inc. as a Web/Graphic Designer, where they organized and maintained the corporate website and designed custom library patron smart cards. Mike then moved on to mafgraphics, where they worked as an Owner/Designer, focusing on website design, print design, and technology consulting. In 2004, they joined Westokes Advertising, Inc. as a Web/Graphic Designer and IT Manager, where they collaborated with the creative director on various projects, including LAMP server setup, website design, and e-commerce implementation. Since 2012, they have been working at Inmar Intelligence, first as a Webmaster and then as a Senior Webmaster and Interactive Technology Manager. In these roles, they planned and developed multi-channel marketing initiatives, optimized digital marketing campaigns, and collaborated with senior management on communication strategies. Currently, they serve as the Manager of Employer Brand Experience, where they manage internal and external communications related to the employer brand and implements technology and emerging media to support communication efforts.
Mike Faurote attended Appalachian State University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications from HubSpot Academy. Mike became Content Marketing Certified in October 2017 and Inbound Certified in June 2017.
