Frederic Lucas

Frederic Lucas has over 30 years of experience in the field of RF systems engineering and ground station management. Frederic currently holds the position of Principal RF Systems Engineer at Inmarsat, where they have been since 2020. In this role, they are responsible for various tasks including site acceptance tests, RFoIP design, and technical management of Ka-band antennas.

Prior to Inmarsat, Frederic worked at SES Satellites as a Senior Engineer, Ground Systems from 2019 to 2019. Frederic also served as the Ground Segment and Earth Station Manager at Avanti Communications Group plc, where they managed projects related to Ka gateways for HYLAS 2 and HYLAS 4 satellites, as well as the development of TTC stations.

Before Avanti Communications, Frederic held various positions at Studiel and GENSAT, where they gained experience in TTC station technical management and earth station RF engineering.

Earlier in their career, they worked at SATIMO as a Measurement Engineer, focusing on the development of real-time near field measurement systems.

Overall, Frederic's work experience demonstrates their expertise in RF systems engineering, ground station management, and project management, making him a valuable asset in the field.

Frederic LUCAS obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Lycee A Chatelet from 1978 to 1985. Later, from 1986 to 1989, they attended ENSEEIHT where they acquired an Engineering degree in Electronics.
