Rupert Lucas

Rupert Lucas is a Senior Systems Architect at Inmarsat since January 2019, specializing in systems architecture for satellite communications networks. Previously, Rupert served as a Satellite Systems Engineer at Inmarsat, focusing on traffic modeling, algorithm development, and satellite deployment strategy. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer role at Cisco, where Rupert engaged in full-stack prototyping and technology investigations, and a Software Developer position at CGI, developing software simulators for Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Rupert holds a Master’s Degree in Astronautics and Space Engineering from Cranfield University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey.
