Lígia Maciel has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2022. Lígia worked as an Assistant Academic at CNPq - MCT from April 2011 to December 2012. From February to December 2013, they were an intern at Editora Alto Astral, where they assisted in creating and editing editorial content for health magazines. As an intern at Portal Namu from August to December 2014, they helped in developing topics, writing and revising editorial content related to health. Lígia then worked as a writer at 14bits from September 2016 to December 2017, producing content for various platforms and maintaining the website. From December 2017 to February 2020, they were an Editorial Analyst at Ricardo Viveiros e Associados, involved in the production of institutional books, biographies, magazines, and corporate reports. Starting in June 2019, they worked as a Freelance Copywriter until March 2020, and later joined Inmetrics as a Marketing Analyst, initially as a Pleno from March 2020 to August 2022, and currently as a Senior LATAM Marketing Analyst. In this role, Lígia is responsible for planning, producing, and analyzing content used in marketing campaigns in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, creating personas and empathy maps, maintaining the brand's tone of voice, and developing campaign motifs, sales pitches, and copywriting.
Lígia Maciel completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Communication, with a major in Journalism, at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they participated in an academic exchange program at the Universidade de Coimbra, studying Artistic Studies. From 2017 to 2019, Lígia pursued a postgraduate specialization in History, Society, and Culture at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. In 2020, they attended a short course on Anthropology of Consumption and Consumption Trends at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.
In addition to their formal education, Lígia Maciel has obtained several certifications. Lígia completed a course on Nonviolent Communication (CNV) at Palas Athena in February 2023. Lígia also received certifications in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) at RD University in March 2021, and was introduced to Customer Success, Inside Sales, Inbound Marketing, and RD Station Marketing at RD University in 2020 and 2021. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Representations of Race and Gender in Popular Culture from Goldsmiths, University of London in August 2016.
