Kevin Feng has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and research fields. Kevin is currently a Back End Developer at Lytho since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SPS Commerce as an Associate Software Engineer II from May 2021 to August 2022, and as an Associate Software Engineer I from September 2019 to April 2021. Before entering the technology industry, Kevin worked as a Web Developer/Casual Research Assistant at Monash University, where they designed and developed a web application for social economic experiments using Django and JavaScript. Kevin also gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Scientist at UCLA, leading and managing research projects on host-microbe interaction. Additionally, Kevin worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Tasmania, where they conducted experiments on foodborne pathogens' thermodynamic and thermal thresholds. Lastly, they served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Tasmania, demonstrating microbiological methods in undergraduate microbiology unit practice classes and maintaining laboratories and workshops.
Kevin Feng completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2008. Kevin continued their education at the University of Tasmania, where they earned a Master of Applied Science degree in Microbiology, with a focus on Microbiology, General, from 2008 to 2010. Kevin then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbiology at the same institution from 2010 to 2014. Most recently, from 2017 to 2019, they attended Monash University and obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology.
