Rupak Kanti Dhar, MSc, P.Eng., is a Senior Embedded System Engineer at Inmotive Inc. since April 2021, where responsibilities include developing Automation Systems in LabVIEW Real-time and FPGA platforms, as well as Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) system design, development, and testing. Previously held the position of Electrical/Software Specialist, focusing on the preparation of test plans for NI-LabVIEW HIL beach testing and validating ECU for a 2-speed electric vehicle transmission. Rupak served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Saint Mary's University from September 2018 to December 2020, working on a rule-based energy management system for microgrids and implementing it using Festo LabVolt and Opal-RT. Additionally, Rupak was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for several engineering courses and an Instructor at Leading University, where courses included machine-related, power electronics, and power systems. Education includes a Master's degree in Applied Science from Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from American International University-Bangladesh.
