James Cox

James Cox is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as Chief Software Architect and Engineering Manager at inMusic Brands since March 2014. Previously, James held similar positions at Avid (formerly M-Audio) from 2004 to 2014 and was the founder of Fit In Your Pocket, Inc., where mobile software was developed for fitness trainers and clients from 2002 to 2004. James's early career includes significant roles such as CTO at Cakewalk, Principal Engineer at Zymark and Dr. T's Music Software, and various engineering positions at Decade 3 Technologies, Ivy Microcomputer Corp, and MBI / Trisysems. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University between 1978 and 1984.
