Jae Kim

Director at Innara Health

Dr. Kim currently serves as the Division Director of Neonatology in the Perinatal Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He has dedicated his career to providing care for infants born prematurely while advancing research focused on topics ranging from newborn nutrition and gut health, to the benefit and life-saving properties of breastmilk.

As Division Director, Dr. Kim provides oversight for Cincinnati Children’s level IV NICU in addition to the 13 Cincinnati Children’s NICU affiliates located throughout Cincinnati and the state of Ohio.

Prior to his position at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Dr. Kim served for over a decade as Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego where he led the nationally recognized premature infant nutrition program SPIN (Supporting Premature Infant Nutrition). Dr. Kim was also instrumental in establishing milk banks in both Toronto and San Diego. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Nutrition and credited with over 50 publications and clinical manuscripts. Dr. Kim is nationally recognized as a key opinion leader in the fields of pediatrics, neonatology, and neonatal nutrition.
