Dr. Ruth Dagan

Dr. Ruth Dagan is a seasoned legal expert in environmental law and climate change, currently serving as the Article 6 Adviser in the UNFCCC Legal Affairs Division since November 2022. As a Partner and Head of the Environment and Climate Change practice at Herzog, Fox & Neeman, Dr. Dagan advises technology companies and corporations in the industrial manufacturing and energy sectors. Additionally, Dr. Dagan holds several roles, including Director of Climate Change and International Collaborations at Reichman's Arison Center for ESG and member of the VCS Program Advisory Group at Verra. Dr. Dagan has been an adjunct professor at Tel Aviv University, specializing in environmental law and risk management. Educational qualifications include a JSD in Environmental Law and Finance, an LLM in Environmental Law and Policy, an MSc in Environmental Management, and an LLB from prestigious institutions, culminating in extensive expertise in global climate policy and law.
