Jamie Jauregui

Jamie Jauregui has a strong background in arts education. They began their career as a Middle and High School Visual Arts Teacher at Pacific Hills School from 2007 to 2011. They then taught 6th Grade Visual Arts at ICEF View Park Prep Middle School from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they taught Visual Arts for 9th graders at Inner City Education Foundation in 2012 and worked as a Graduate Assistant at Claremont Graduate University from 2013 to 2014. Subsequently, they served as a Research Assistant at Arts Orange County in 2014. From 2013 to 2015, Jamie was a Middle School Visual Arts Teacher at ICEF Frederick Douglass Middle School. They later joined ICEF Public Schools, where they worked as an Arts Instructional Specialist from 2015 to 2016 and then became the Director of Arts from 2016 onwards.

Jamie Jauregui completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American Studies and Language Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1995 to 2000. They obtained a Multi-Subject Teaching Credential from the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute at San Francisco State University between 2005 and 2007. From 2012 to 2014, Jamie pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Arts Management from the Drucker School of Management. Prior to their university education, Jamie attended Bishop O'Dowd High School from 1991 to 1995, although the specific degree or field of study is not mentioned for this period.
