Jeanine Tunon is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching government, economics, and social studies. Currently serving as a Government and Economics Teacher at ICEF Public Schools since August 2019, Jeanine has also been a 6th and 7th grade Teacher with the NYC Department of Education since 2012 and previously held a teaching position starting in December 2011. Jeanine holds two Master's degrees in TESOL, earned from St. John's University (2012-2014) and Grand Canyon University (2017-2018), along with a bachelor's degree from Hunter College (2007-2011).

Inner City Education Foundation (ICEF) operates 7 schools, educating over 2,500 students in grades TK through 12. ICEF was one of the first charter school management organizations to open in Los Angeles, and quickly became a leader in raising the achievement levels of African-American and Latino/Hispanic students in the State of California.
