Erin Thompson is an accomplished legal professional and educator with extensive experience in project management and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Special Projects Manager at Inner City Law Center since November 2014, Erin is responsible for Homeful.LA. Additionally, Erin has contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University from August 2019 to 2023, and founded The 'S' Word Project, which provides a safe space for teens to discuss sex and relationships. Previous roles include Operations, Facilities & Project Manager at New Life Covenant Church and Executive Assistant at Project SYNCERE. Erin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a BA in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago, alongside additional training in sound and lighting. Erin's active involvement in various legal and professional organizations demonstrates a commitment to fostering growth and education within the community.

The only provider of legal services on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles, Inner City Law Center combats slum housing while developing strategies to end homelessness. Inner City Law Center is recognized for our expertise in housing issues, veterans’ benefits, and homelessness prevention. Our staff of 40, including 20 attorneys, provides quality legal representation for people who have nowhere else to turn. We fight for justice for low-income tenants, working poor families, immigrants, people who are homeless or disabled, and veterans. Driven by the fundamental principle that every person should always be treated with dignity and respect, ICLC works for long-term, positive, and meaningful change.
