Prem Samtani

Prem Samtani is the Founder and Managing Director of Merton Global Ventures, a boutique advisory and investment firm established in January 2019 that collaborates with early stage purpose-driven companies, particularly in areas such as climate innovation, preventative health, smart logistics, and financial technology. In addition to this role, Prem Samtani serves as a Senior Business Advisor at SOSV, Innovacell Biotechnologie AG, and InnerPlant, and holds the title of Non Executive Director at Shriram Asset Management Company Limited, while being a Senior Fellow at FCLTGlobal. Previously, Prem Samtani was an Angel Investor and Senior Advisor at Base Food Inc., and from June 2012 to December 2018, held the position of Managing Director / Senior Portfolio Manager at CPP Investments. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from July 2005 to June 2012. Prem Samtani holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of British Columbia.
