Roderick Kumimoto

Roderick Kumimoto's work experience began in 1998 as a Research Scientist at Mendel Biotechnology, Inc., where they worked until 2007. Roderick then joined the University of Oklahoma as a Post Doctoral Researcher from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher at UC Davis. In 2018, they joined InnerPlant as the Vice President of Research and Development, and in October 2020, they became the Chief Scientific Officer.

Roderick Kumimoto earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, from 1993 to 1997. Later on, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant Biology at the University of Oklahoma from 2007 to 2012.
