Zoe K.

Zoe K. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Zoe is currently serving as the Director of Data Science at InnerSpace since November 2022. Prior to this, Zoe worked at FreshBooks as the Principal AI Scientist from December 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining FreshBooks, Zoe held the position of Head of Machine Learning & Data Science at Nudge.ai from June 2014 to February 2020. During their tenure, Nudge.ai was acquired by Affinity. Zoe also worked as a Data Scientist at Fuse Powered Inc. from November 2013 to May 2014, where the company was later acquired by Upsight. Prior to that, Zoe worked at AppHero as a Data Scientist from October 2012 to November 2013, and the company was acquired by FusePowered.

Zoe's earlier experience includes working as a Computational Research Scientist at Columbia University from September 2011 to September 2012. Zoe began their career as a Jr. Computational Research Scientist at the Medical Research Council in 2005, where they worked in the Mathematical Biology Department at the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) in London until September 2006.

Zoe K. pursued their education in a systematic and progressive manner, beginning with their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at McMaster University from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they furthered their studies with a Master of Science (MSc) in Bioinformatics at the University of Liverpool, completing their degree in 2004. Building upon their foundation, Zoe K. went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Biology and Structural Bioinformatics at the prestigious University of Oxford. Zoe successfully completed their doctoral degree in 2011.
