Syed Ali

Syed Ali has extensive work experience in research and development, particularly in the field of non-destructive testing methodologies. Syed has served as the Director of Research and Development at Innerspec Technologies, where they directed and coordinated the efforts of multicultural research teams. Prior to this role, they were a Principal Research Engineer at the same company, where they successfully applied their training to solve complex industrial problems. Syed also worked as a Senior Research and Development Engineer, focusing on the development of NDT solutions using Ultrasonic method and Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducers. Syed started their career as a Research Engineer. In addition to their industry experience, Syed has also taught as an Adjunct Faculty Member at William Penn University and as a Faculty Member at DesMoines Area Community College. Syed holds a graduate degree from Iowa State University, where they served as a Graduate Student.

Syed Ali has a diverse education history. Syed started their educational journey in 1976 at Govt Science College, Wahdet Road, Lahore, where they completed their F.Sc degree in Pre-Engineering in 1978. Following this, from 1978 to 1982, they attended NED University of Engineering and Technology and obtained a BE Avionics degree in Electronics.

After a gap in their education, Syed Ali continued their studies at Iowa State University. From 1998 to 1999, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering, earning an MSEE (Master of Science in Electrical Engineering). Later, from 2001 to 2003, they focused on Computer Engineering and completed their MSCE (Master of Science in Computer Engineering) at Iowa State University.

In addition to their formal education, Syed Ali obtained a certification in ASNT NDT Level III from The American Society for Non Destructive Testing in March 2021.
