Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy is a seasoned professional in engineering and sourcing, with extensive experience in program management and supplier collaboration. Currently serving as the Global Category Leader for Electrical and C-Class components at INNIO Group since November 2018, Brian develops and executes sourcing strategies while managing cross-functional teams to maintain supplier relationships. Prior roles include Sourcing Product Development Leader and Lead Engineer at INNIO, where Brian successfully managed engine development programs and facilitated communication between engineering and sourcing teams. Brian's background includes significant tenures at GE Power, Navistar Inc., Ford Motor Company, and General Motors, where responsibilities spanned engine performance, emissions calibration, and automatic transmission design. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master's in Engineering Management from the University of Detroit Mercy.
