Sebastian Rudy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sebastian is currently serving as the VP Accounting at INNIO Group, where they are responsible for driving quality, efficiency, and standards across the accounting function. Prior to their current role, Sebastian held the position of Group Senior Finance Director at Eurofins, where they transformed and adapted finance organizations to accommodate the company's growth. Sebastian also served as the Chief Financial Officer EMEA at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, where they spearheaded quarterly financial targets, transformed finance processes, and implemented shared service and unified ERP systems. Sebastian also has a long history with Alstom Power, where they served in various finance director roles and contributed to cost reduction, product development acceleration, and successful turnarounds. Earlier in their career, Sebastian worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Alstom Management SA and as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, managing ERP system implementations and process modeling projects.
Sebastian Rudy earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from ESSEC Business School and Mannheim Business School, both from the years 2014 to 2016. Sebastian also holds a Diplôme d'Etudes Comptables et Financières in Accounting and Finance from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, obtained from 2003 to 2005. Sebastian further pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and Management Accounting from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 1997-1998. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Economy and Finance from Sciences Po, from 1994 to 1997. Sebastian's educational journey began with obtaining their German A-levels (Abitur) from Gymnasium between 1984 and 1993.
In addition to their formal education, Sebastian has also obtained various certifications. These include a Certificate in Venture Capital and Private Equity from Vlerick Business School (obtained in 2021), a Certificate in Entrepreneurship: Financing and Profitability from Wharton Online (obtained in 2021), and a Global Executive Education Certificate of Achievement in Advanced Finance from NYU Stern School of Business (obtained in 2015).
