Yulia Howes

Yulia Howes is currently a Language Specialist in the AI/LLM Practice at Innodata Inc., focusing on improving the accuracy, fluency, and coherence of LLMs for Meta AI, as well as training data sets and auditing pre-training data quality. Alongside this role, Yulia has volunteered as a Russian/English Interpreter for the Community Services Agency of Mountain View and Los Altos since 2017. Prior experience includes positions such as Analytical Linguist and Domain Lead at Accenture (for Google), where responsibilities involved grammar development, data annotation, and training data creation. Additional roles have included temporary projects in transcription and linguistics, enumeration for the U.S. Census Bureau, and data-related positions with notable companies like Tesla and Lionbridge. Yulia holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Education from Orenburg State University.
