Basar Kaya

Basar Kaya is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and innovation in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development & Global Expansion at MentalUP, a Finland-based company specializing in AI-driven educational games, Basar also leads InnoEnergy's Turkey operations, focusing on sustainable energy innovation. As the Co-founder and Managing Director of Projemetre R&D Consultancy, Basar provides global consultancy and training services. Additional roles include Business Development Executive at Qizzy App, Mentor for EIT Jumpstarter, and former Director of Business Development and Fundraising at Sabanci University's SUCool accelerator. Basar has a background in entrepreneurship education as a former Director at the Founder Institute and has contributed as an Independent Assessor for the Istanbul Development Agency and an Instructor at TÜBİTAK. Basar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
