Michael von Riegen

Michael von Riegen has a strong and diverse work experience spanning several years. Michael is currently working as a Senior Team Lead Software Development at InnoGames GmbH since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at PLATH Group from December 2013 to January 2020, initially as a Manager Software Development and then as an Architect Software Development from March 2012 to November 2013. Michael was a Research Associate at Universität Hamburg from March 2009 to February 2012, and before that, they held the same position at Hamburger Informatik Technologie Centrum e.V. from March 2006 to February 2009. Michael started their career as a Developer at deepblue networks AG in January 2001 and worked there until February 2006. Before that, they were a Developer at C-One from December 1999 to December 2000. Their earliest work experience was as a Student Assistant at Premiere Medien GmbH from August 1996 to May 2000.

Michael von Riegen completed their education history with a Doctorate in Natural Sciences in Informatics (Dr. rer. nat.) from the University of Hamburg, from 2006 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom in Informatics (Dipl.-Inf.) from the same university, from 1999 to 2005. Their undergraduate studies were in Process Engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology, from 1995 to 1999.
