Song Du has worked at four different companies since 2013. Song began their career at VON ARDENNE Anlagentechnik GmbH as a Commissioning Engineer in 2013. In 2018, they moved to Manz CIGS Technology Gmbh as a Process Engineer. In 2021, they joined Webasto Group as a Manufacturing Expert Glass Coating, where they were responsible for specifying sputter coating machines for single silver/double silver/triple silver low E glass/ITO glass production and optical simulation & development of temperable low-E coating and ITO based coatings with anti-reflection function. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Innolith as a Project Engineer, where their role includes technology industrialization, specification of machines for electrode manufacturing, and mixing, coating, drying, calendering, slitting, and vacuum drying.
Song Du obtained a Bachelor's degree in Material Science and Engineering from Chongqing University in 2008. Song then attended Technische Universität Clausthal in 2008-2009 for a German course. Afterwards, they went on to receive a Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering from Technische Universität Ilmenau in 2009-2012. In 2020, Song Du obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
