Paul Patchen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in system-on-chip (SoC) design and development. Currently serving as Principal Design Engineer at InnoPhase IoT since February 2023, Paul previously held key roles at Microsoft and Texas Instruments, focusing on front-end RTL development, low-power connectivity products, and mixed-signal digital design. Notable achievements include leading sub-system integration and delivering critical Flash subsystems for various SoC developments. With a BSEE degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, Paul's career spans over three decades, including early contributions at VIA Technologies and National Semiconductor, where impactful collaborations with industry giants like Dell and IBM were established.
