Wiren Perera is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology and IoT sectors. Currently serving as President & COO at InnoPhase IoT since 2021, Perera focuses on ultra-low power wireless Edge AI IoT solutions. Prior to this role, Perera was the Global Head of IoT at onsemi, overseeing a division with annual revenues of $1.5 billion from 2015 to 2021. Perera has held influential positions including Vice President of LAN Solutions at Micrel, where leadership was established in automotive Ethernet and connected car markets. Additional experiences include senior roles at Plato Networks, JDSU, Mysticom Inc, Marketing for Rent, Stream Machine, and PMC-Sierra, indicating a strong background in marketing, business development, and engineering. Perera holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
