Marco Coen has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Marco began their career at US Army Europe, where they served as a US Military Officer in various leadership roles. After leaving the military, Marco joined Ashland Inc as a Territory Sales Manager and later became an Operations Manager. Marco then moved on to Colloides Naturels International (now known as Nexira) as an Executive Account Manager and Canadian Market Manager.
In 2007, Marco joined Innophos and held several roles, starting as a Commercial Operations Manager and Global Key Account Manager. Over the years, they progressed to becoming a Regional Manager, a Business Manager, and eventually a Global Sales Director for Specialty Ingredients/Chemicals. In 2017, Marco was promoted to Vice President - Commercial, overseeing Food/Health/Nutrition/Industrial Specialties. In their most recent role as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Marco led and managed over 100 employees and successfully implemented commercial/operational excellence initiatives, resulting in significant revenue growth and improved EBITDA. Marco also played a vital role in integrating acquisitions and implementing ESG efforts.

Marco Coen attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Marco then pursued further education at the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2002 to 2004, obtaining an Executive MBA. Their field of study during their MBA program was Management, and they were awarded the Dean's Certificate of Excellence Award.
